New Video: Rick Ross- Hold Me Back (Nigeria)
Well what is there to say? After seeing this video, any thoughts any sane person would have of going to Nigeria would immediately be eliminated. The video can basically be summed up into two parts, part one shows the grimey streets of Nigeria, with broken, dejected, poverty stricken people being portrayed going about their daily activities, none of which seem pleasing or endearing.
The second part shows shows Rick Ross performing at a concert in what I assume is modern day Nigeria, which he got to in a Cadillac Escalade which drove past ramshackle houses and cars. Even though the footage here is less than 30 seconds long, it’s obviously shot with a whole different demographic of people, all of whom are very well dressed and blinged out with cell phones and DSLR cameras.
Either way, shameful that Nigeria which is Africa’s largest nation and home to 3 out of 5 black people in the world is this horrible. Then again, for all I know, maybe it’s just where he chose to shoot the video, the Louisiana version shot in the Calliope Projects is no different.
